For Christmas Day, we had a “Christmas Feast” featuring ham as one of the main dishes. Ham is great, but… it’s a LOT of ham! Our family was then faced with a challenge: How can we optimize our meal plans to efficiently eliminate leftover ham, before it spoiled. The challenge has the following constraint: Create meals that are not repetitive, so as to eliminate second-order leftovers (leftovers of leftovers!).

Never fear! Pizza to the rescue!

Ham is a topping we usually don’t add to homemade pizzas, but why not?

Well… Ham isn’t as popular as pepperoni. So, now we have leftover pizza. Constraint violation.

Oh well – leftover pizza isn’t all that bad.
